1. Krashin Electrical Engineering Consulting Ltd. (“the Firm” or “we”) respects your privacy and is committed to safeguarding and protecting the personal information it holds about you. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the Firm uses the information it collects from users of the website and in connection with them.

2. The information below is intended to help the user understand the Firm’s privacy protection policy on the website. This Privacy Policy clarifies the information the Firm collects about users, the purposes for which the Firm collects such information, the uses the Firm may make of it, the third parties to whom the Firm may transfer it, and how the Firm handles and stores the information.

3.  The information provided by the user to the Firm is subject to the user’s consent and willingness, and its provision does not arise from any legal obligation. The information will be stored in databases for the purposes detailed in this Privacy Policy. Use of the website and/or the services offered by the Firm through the website constitutes the user’s consent to this Privacy Policy and to the fact that such information will be stored and managed in the said databases.

4. This Privacy Policy is drafted in masculine form solely for convenience and should be read as applying equally to all genders.

For the purposes of this Policy, the term “personal information” means any information collected by the Firm or provided to it by the user, or by someone on the user’s behalf, in the course of the user’s use of the website and the services included therein, by which the user can reasonably be identified and/or information protected under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981 (the “Law”).

The user is not legally obligated to provide the Firm with personal information, and the provision of such information is done voluntarily and with the user’s consent. However, the user agrees that without providing such information, the Firm may not be able to offer the services included on the website, in whole or in part, or enable the use of all features, content, or information offered through the website.

Some of the information collected about users in the course of their use of the website and/or their engagement with the Firm does not personally identify them and is not stored together with their personal details. This is statistical and/or aggregate information. For example, the IP address from which the user accessed the website.

5. Sources of User’s Information Collected by the Firm

• Information received by the Firm in connection with the use of the website;

• When the user requests to subscribe to the Firm’s mailing list.

6. Purposes for Which the Firm Collects Information

The Firm collects information about the user for the following purposes – all or part thereof:

• To contact the user when the Firm deems it necessary for the provision of the services or to comply with any legal requirement;

• To provide support and handle requests or complaints;

Without derogating from the foregoing, the Firm may use information that is not personally identifiable for various legitimate purposes, including, without limitation, improving the services offered on the website, tailoring content and advertisements displayed on the website, and similar purposes.

7.  Transfer of Information

The Firm will not transfer or disclose personal information collected about the user to third parties except as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Any transfer of information to third parties will include only relevant information that does not exceed the purposes for which the information is transferred and will be carried out in a proportionate manner for a defined, explicit, and legitimate purpose.

• Third parties that provide various services to the Firm, including, inter alia, support for security systems and information technology (IT) systems, data storage services, financing services, project valuation services, website development services, survey and research services, advertising and marketing service providers, attorneys, and other external professional advisors, as well as additional third parties that provide services to the Firm;

• If the Firm receives an order, including a court order and/or a demand from a competent authority under law, instructing it to provide the user’s details or information about the user in accordance with applicable law;

• If the Firm receives notice of legal proceedings being taken against it due to actions performed by the user, as well as in any dispute, claim, demand, lawsuit, or legal proceedings of any kind between the user (or anyone on the user’s behalf) and the Firm (or anyone on its behalf);

• In the event that the Firm organizes its operations within another entity, including by way of merger, the Firm may transfer to such other entity the personal information or any other information accumulated about users, provided that the other entity undertakes to assume this Privacy Policy;

• If an allegation is raised or the Firm suspects that a user has committed an act and/or omission that harms and/or may harm the Firm and/or anyone on its behalf and/or any third parties, including other users;

• If an allegation is raised or the Firm suspects that a user is using the website to commit an unlawful act and/or to enable, facilitate, assist, and/or encourage the commission of such an act;

• For the purpose of delivering and sharing anonymous, aggregate, and statistical information with affiliated companies, suppliers, business partners, and any third party, at the Firm’s sole discretion. However, the Firm will not knowingly disclose the user’s identity to them without the user’s consent;

• At the explicit request of a user.

In addition to the foregoing, the Firm may store information on its own servers and on servers of third parties that may be located outside the State of Israel.

8. Information Security

The Firm implements technical and physical measures regarding privacy and data security in accordance with accepted standards. As it is known, the storage and transmission of information by electronic means, including via the internet, can never be completely secure, and whenever the user provides information to the Firm, particularly via the internet, the user does so with full consent and subject to the risks inherent in such transmission. The Firm does not undertake that the website or the server on which the information is stored will be absolutely protected against unauthorized access to the information stored therein. In any event, if the user has reason to believe that the transmission of information to the Firm is no longer secure, the Firm requests that the user notify it accordingly using the contact details set out in this Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Firm and anyone on its behalf shall not bear any liability and are exempt from any responsibility in connection with any damage, loss, or expense of any kind or nature, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, incurred or to be incurred by users and/or any third party in connection with the collection of information, its use, transfer to third parties, storage, security, and more.

10. Information’s Retention Period

The Firm will retain information about the user for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes detailed in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

11. Cookies

The website may use cookies and other technologies such as pixels and similar technologies (together, “Cookies”).

The Firm uses Cookies for one or more of the following purposes: to operate and manage the website on an ongoing and proper basis; to display to the user content and advertisements that may be of interest and/or tailored to the user’s preferences; to analyze, research, and perform audits in connection with the website; to monitor activity patterns on the website; to analyze, develop statistics, and perform audits regarding the website and its use.

The Firm may use pixels of advertising systems such as Facebook and Google, which monitor users’ use of the website (as may be changed from time to time by the Firm). The use of information collected through such Cookies is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of those companies. Without derogating from the foregoing and from the provisions of this Privacy Policy, the Firm may transfer information to third-party advertising systems as set out herein and display to the user content and advertisements that may be of interest and/or tailored to the user’s preferences.

In addition, the Firm uses third-party analytics, statistical analysis, and research services such as Google Analytics. The use of Google Analytics services is subject to the terms of use and privacy policy of Google Analytics. Information about the data collected within these services, the uses of such data, how to disable Cookies, and more can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

A user who does not wish Cookies to be collected on their computer can prevent this by changing the browser settings on their computer. For this purpose, the user should consult the browser’s help file. Disabling Cookies may result in some services on the website not being available or the quality of such services being affected. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Cookies that are essential and necessary for the operation and management of the website cannot be disabled.

12. Right of Access and Correction of Information

The right to access and correct personal information is in accordance with the Law, under which any person is entitled to review, either personally, through an authorized representative, or via a guardian, information about them held in a database. A person who has reviewed information about them and finds that it is not correct, complete, clear, or updated may contact the database owner with a request to correct or delete the information. If the database owner refuses, they must notify the requester in the manner and form prescribed by regulations. A requester may appeal a refusal to allow access and any notice of refusal to correct or delete information, in the manner and form prescribed by regulations.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The terms and provisions detailed in this Privacy Policy, as well as any change or amendment thereto, and the use of the website, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without reference to conflict-of-law provisions.

Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute and/or claim arising in connection with the use of the website and this Privacy Policy, or related thereto, shall be vested solely in the competent courts of Tel Aviv - Jaffa.

14. Changes and Updates

The Firm may, at its sole discretion, change this Privacy Policy from time to time without the need for prior notice or warning. The updated Privacy Policy published on the website shall bind the user. Continued use of the website by the user after the Privacy Policy has been updated shall constitute the user’s consent to the updated Privacy Policy, including the changes.

15. Miscellaneous

• The user may not assign their rights and/or obligations under this Privacy Policy to another. The Firm may transfer its rights and/or obligations to another.

• Nothing in this Privacy Policy shall derogate from any right vested in the Firm and/or anyone on its behalf under any law.
